Cogeco Security Services – Minimum Requirements
Cogeco Security Services is a free (for certain Internet subscribers. Depends on your Internet package.) security suite that protects your computer(s) from Viruses, spy-ware, malware, pop-ups, etc..
There are minimum requirements that your computer should have before you try to install the Cogeco Security Services software to your computer. This post details the minimum requirements needed to successfully run the Cogeco Security Services software on your computer(s). If your computer does not meet the minimum requirements do not install the software to your computer or you could run into bigger problems like system instability issues, boot problems, slow computer, etc…. However, in the new version there does appear to be an install option to install specific features and not others, which could help some systems run the software. As a best practice it’s a good idea to make sure your computer meets or exceeds the system requirements.
If you are unsure if your computer meets the system requirements for Cogeco Security Services we would recommend contacting Cogeco before installing.
